Lux Aeterna – Clint Mansell – OST Requiem for a dream
Lux Aeterna (sometimes Lux Æterna) is a song composed by Clint Mansell and performed by the Kronos Quartet. It is the leitmotiv of the movie Requiem for a Dream (2000).
Many claim (especially on youtube) that it is an arrangement of Clint Mansell from a Richard Wagner piece: Der Weg in Walghal but after long research on the works of Wagner, I do not find this title anywhere . All YouTube videos with the title Der Weg in Walghal are actually excerpts from the movie Requiem for a Dream. And all the articles outside of Youtube confirm that this song has nothing to do with Wagner or any other classical composer.
