Waltz 17 in A minor, Posth. – F. Chopin

Frederic Chopin composed 17 waltzes.
Chopin composed this refined and mysterious waltz between 1843 and 1848. The memory inspires a musical summit here leading Chopin to chisel the utterance of an interior song that is both modest and intimate, expressed with infinite delicacy. The character is veiled, woven in vague mists between hope, sadness, profound melancholy. The author seems to be bowing out. The Waltz in A minor is a posthumous opus whose score will be published in 1955 but is now one of his best-known works.
