I posted a video of myself playing Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” on Youtube in 2009 to show my piano teacher my level. Years later, I relearned the piece and improved both the sound quality and interpretation. By comparing my 2009 and 2014 versions, I saw that a good interpretation can hide a wrong note, but an incorrect intonation or a hesitation in rhythm is more noticeable.
