Lesson 3: The Rising Storm – Adding Intensity & Expression
Welcome to Lesson 3.
Now that you have mastered the main theme, we are going to step into the "chorus"—the most active and driving movement of the piece.
In this lesson, we focus on insistence and emotion. Using only the notes B-flat and G, we will alternate rhythms to create that specific "insistent" mood—like a child asking for a favor or a heart beating faster.
We will move beyond the sheet music to work by ear, learning to "feel" the rhythm rather than just counting it.
I will also show you how to add extra notes to your chords to break the monotony and build the orchestral tension that makes Lux Aeterna so unforgettable.
