Elegy for the victims of the Tsunami of March 11, 2011

NOBUYUKI TSUJII

“Elegy for the Victims of the Tsunami” is a poignant work composed by Nobuyuki Tsujii, in honour of the victims of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Tōhoku.

My piano arrangement highlights the deep sadness and emotional resonance of the original composition, while allowing pianists to fully immerse themselves in the melancholic beauty of the melody. Through this performance, I hope to capture the spirit of the original work and offer an interpretation that touches the heart.
