Romance, composed by Narciso Yepes, is an iconic piece of the classical guitar, famous for its poignant simplicity and timeless beauty. Popularised by the film Jeux Interdits, this piece has touched generations thanks to its soft and evocative melodic lines.

Although it is traditionally played on the guitar, I chose to transcribe this piano piece to allow pianists to appropriate this masterpiece while respecting its essence.

This transcription for piano highlights the subtle nuances and deep emotions of the work, while being accessible to pianists of different levels. I wanted to offer a faithful version that retains the soul of the original composition, but adapted to the technical specificities of the piano, so that everyone can enjoy it and develop their musical expression.
